Another Small Finish...

I've been trying to get back into my stitching routine. My part of the house is a mess though... I really should be cleaning, but I decided to stitch this instead...

I also worked on "Beloved" a little bit last night. I think this one is going to take me the rest of my life to finish!! :)

Well, I no longer have internet. I decided to go ahead and cancel it. I'm sitting outside the public library right now using their internet. :) Only two more weeks now until we move! It would have been one, but oh well, what can ya do?? Write later!

Stressed and Insane

Whenever something big in my life happens (birth of a child, moving, etc.) I always stress out by starting many new things. And these things are never small, no that will not satisfy me. They must be huge projects. For example when I was getting ready to have Matthew I started Carriage House Samplings Alphabets, Carriage House Samplings "Village of Hawk Run Hollow," and I'm sure there are more. When my SIL was getting ready to have my niece I started Mirabilia's Petal Fairy, Lizzie Kate Flip-It's over one, and Needleprints Ann Trump. Now, do you think any of these projects are even remotely close to being finished?? So what am I starting now?? Well, lets see - Happy Home Sampler (only two motifs finished) and now Beloved....

It really is insane how big this project is, but I love it so far. I know I've just done a teeny tiny part of the border, but I still love it. Like Gill says "[It's] Amazing how much fun you can have with black Floss!" And the fun has just begun for me! :)

A Little Stash...

...Appeared while I was away! :) I ordered "Beloved" by A Stitcher's Hands after seeing Gill's beautiful progress. Now I'm just trying to decide which fabric would be best, and if I should stitch it over two or one??

Here is the design with 32 ct. Vintage Lentil. If I chose this fabric, which I like a lot, I'd have to stitch it over one because I don't have enough to stitch it over two. So I was leaning a little bit towards this one....

32 ct. Vintage Examplar. I could stitch it over two if I chose this one. I don't know. I can't make a decision right now. My brain is mush! :) I think I need a nap!

Thank you to everyone for your kind compliments on my bedroom. I tried taking a picture of the living room, but I have terrible lighting in there (not that I'm complaining)! I'll try again in a few weeks. :) Write later!

edited to add: I just found this piece of Antique White linen in my stash, which is also a possibility!

Edited again to add: I stopped by my LNS and ended up getting a piece of 34 ct. Cafe Au Lait (what Gill is using for her's and what I'm using for my Happy Home Sampler). I think I found it the right fabric now! :)
