Daisy Sampler Finished!

I got it finished up today! Yeah! :)

Fabric: 32 ct. Patina by Lakeside Linens
Threads: DMC and Weeks Dye Works
Started: 3/11/08 - Finished: 3/15/08

My mom found an old sampler I stitched for her. I kept asking her where it was and that I didn't care what she did with, but could I please just have it back. Thankfully she found it and it was not damaged!

Brightneedle "Sonnenberg"

Brightneedle's "Sonnenberg"

It's Brightneedle's Sonnenberg. I plan to frame it again and probably keep it for myself. I don't think it's her taste, which is why it was hidden away. And that's fine because I like it even if she doesn't. :)

Well, I'm in the middle of doing mountains of laundry, so I'd better go! Write later! :)

Daisy Sampler as of 3/12/08

Daisy Sampler as of 3/12/08, originally uploaded by nevillen.

I stitched a little bit on Daisy Sampler yesterday. I was tired and went to bed fairly early. Still trying to get used to the time change! Write later! :)

Daisy Sampler

I had wrote this whole long post about how I was unhappy with my wips and nothing was going right and I decided to delete it. It was so negative. I decided a new start is what I needed. A small new start. :) Of course a CCN or LHN is a perfect choice for that, so I chose Country Cottage Needleworks "Daisy Sampler."

I think I've been stitching so much and seemingly so fast because of the books I've been listening to at night. They are so good and it seems the better they are the faster I stitch and the longer I've been staying up to hear more. I sometimes wonder what I did before I discovered audio books. :)

I kept thinking yesterday was significant for some reason and then I realized it's the four year anniversary of the day my husband was shot in the line of duty. I called him to tell how glad I am that he's with me today. I couldn't imagine him not being in my life and not having Matthew.

I have a lot to be grateful for, which is why I deleted the negative post! I need to think positive! :)
