Simply Live Progress

I worked on Simply Live yesterday and a little bit this morning. I think I may be able to get it finished next week. I'm happy with the blue now. I'm not going to do anymore ripping! :)

Today is "With My Needle" day. I'll be working some more on the girls dress. I did stitch a little on it a couple weeks ago - didn't take a pic. I'm about halfway done with the brown in the middle.

Tomorrow I'm going to Amy's to stitch. I'm so looking forward to it! I need a day away from these crazy kids! :) Write soon!

P.S. I started a ByGone Stitches SAL blog for those that want to stitch along on Quaker Virtues or Quaker Christmas.

Simply Live

I think we are going to head down to Florida tonight or tomorrow for a four day weekend. So I thought I would get a head start on today's stitching last night. After I finished all the leaves on Titania I decided to get out "Simply Live." I worked on it way too late (I'm paying for that today)!

I'm not too sure about some of the colors (mainly the blue) - I already ripped a couple out that I didn't like, so I don't think I'm going to rip anymore. I'm just going to let it grow on me. :) I may not be able to post for a few days. Our internet is always touch and go down there. Write later!

Rotation - Day One

I worked on "Simply Live" last night, which I listed to stitch on Thursdays. I got all of the alphabet on the bottom finished! I'm very happy with that because next week I can start on the motifs.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I think this rotation is going to work for me! I got my wips and put them in basket. I then found some tags and labeled each project bag with the project name and day to stitch them. I put them in the basket in order of the days.

Today I'm going to work on "With My Needle." I'm excited to get back to this one. Write soon! :)

Wow!!

Thank you all for your very kind comments on my class piece! I still can't believe I actually finished it. I did start a few things over the weekend and I finished one!

Pine Tree Hill
Little House Needleworks "Pine Tree Hill" from the JCS 10/06 issue
Fabric: 28 ct. Creme Brulee by R&R
Threads: Crescent Colours and DMC

My two other starts were by The Primitive Needle, which I think is becoming my newest favorite designer.

Kindred Spirits by The Primitive Needle

This one is "Kindred Spirits." I'm stitching it on 40 ct. Vintage Light Examplar, which I already had in my stash. The threads are Belle Soie Noir and Kiwi and Sampler Threads Bittersweet.

The Primitive Needle "Simply Live"

And this one is "Simply Live." I first saw this on Monique's blog and fell instantly in love! I saw it at Mary's shop over the weekend and came up with my own color scheme using all four of the conversions listed in the pattern. The fabric is 40 ct. Pearled Barley by Lakeside Linens.

Well, I'm going to get back to stitching while Matthew is taking a nap! Thank you again everyone!! Write later! :)
