These are just a few things on my wish list. I'm really trying to be good and stitch from my stash and stitch on my wips! Why is it so hard to be good?? :)

I put down "H" for a little bit and now I'm working on Wayward Garden's Border again. It's I've almost got two sides down! Woo Hoo! :) Well, not much else. Write later!

Bored....

I didn't make it down to any LNS's today. I took Jake to McDonald's for breakfast and then thought I'd look at Hobby Lobby for a few things. Well, of course he threw a temper tantrum in the store and I had to drop everything and take him out. You've gotta love toddlers! So we went home and I finally got him to take a nap. While he was napping I worked some more on H is for Honey.

H is for Honey progress as of 4/27/06

I'm trying to enjoy being bored because I have to work a lot next week. I was so upset. I work part time, yet I have full time hours without the full time benefits. I wrote a note to manager to only schedule me three days a week from now on. I think I can make up the difference in money by eating out less, etc. It's getting harder on me, especially since I work retail (a busy grocery store). My back is hurting more and I've been having more pelvic pressure lately. Anyway, enough complaining. I took care of it. If they don't have enough help they'll just have to find it!! Well, off to enjoy my boredom for the rest of the day... oh, and to do laundry, fun, fun!!

I have Startitis

I started another new project last night! I wanted a small - medium project I could take to work with me (good excuse). So I started Prairie Schooler's H is for Honey from the G*H*I leaflet.

I worked on it last night while watching Kelly Pickler get kicked off American Idol. Thankfully no more fake, wanna be Jessica Simpson act anymore! She's cute, but annoying! Anyway, I'm thinking of heading down to Nease's Needlework in Atlanta since the shop in Rome in was closed. I should just bite the bullet and go to Abecedarius (my favorite shop), but I feel so silly since I have been there in almost two years!!! Argh, what's wrong with me?? :) Well, write more later!

More Border...

I got a little bit more done on the border of Wayward Garden. As I was stitching along I realized I was off by one stitch in the outside border. So I had to rip down and rip the top border to match it. What fun. I think I'm finally on track.

New Stash and a New Start!

I finally got an order I placed with Stitching Bits and Bobs a long time ago! I got some Sampler and Weeks Dye Works that I didn't have and I got Little House Needlework's Lavender Hill.

New Threads and Pattern

Last week I started Drawn Thread's Wayward Garden, so far I've only got the outside border and some of the flower border finished.

So far I'm loving this project, I may have to start working on the inside flowers to keep from losing my mind, but so far I haven't. I almost did Saturday though when I had to frog a corner because I started on the wrong side of the fabric, duh!!

Well, not much else! This baby is kicking my butt... I'm soooo tired, I could sleep and sleep and sleep. Only 13 more weeks, or 3 months exactly - Due July 24th. I'm so sick of people asking when I'm due. We had a couple girls at work who have had their babies or are about to have their baby, and now they won't leave me alone! I need to wear a sign!! :) Write more later!

More Progress on Quaker Mystery...

I finished page one and part of page two of my Quaker Mystery Sampler. I'm still trying to decide how I like the DMC. In a way I wish I would've got the silks. I've become such a silk snob! Oh well, I need to get over it! My budget can't afford silks all the time! :) Anyway, here's my progress...

Man, I've had such bad heartburn today!! I hate it!!! It's funny how our minds have us forget all the annoying symptoms of pregancy! Well, my son is wanting me to play Mario Tennis, so I'd better go!! Write more later!

Summer Jubilee is finished!

I finally finished Summer Jubilee by Blackbird Designs! I love how it turned out!

summer jubilee

Now, should I start something new?? Like Drawn Thread's Wayward Garden, or some other pretty sampler using silks? I should probably get working on some UFOs! But knowing me, I'll probably start something new. :)

Sunday we went to the Braves game. I took the kids and my mom. My dh had to stay home because he was on call. My 3 year old had a little trouble sitting still, so we walked around a lot! They had fun though! I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to anymore games because I'm getting bigger everyday!! :) I'm 26 weeks now, only 14 to go! Write more later!

Getting Close...

I'm getting close to finishing Summer Jubilee. I haven't been stitching much. I've been cleaning!! We are planning on moving down to Florida sometime this year, so I've been doing major cleaning and decluttering to get the house ready to put on the market. We decided to move down to be closer to my husband's parents, and my brother and sister-in-law. We feel lonely up here. I have friends down there that I miss also. My dh was born down there and I lived there for eight years. I'd like to wait until the baby is born to sell the house though, so I'm not in that big of a hurry. Anyway, here's the latest progress picture of Summer Jubilee...

Summer Jubilee as of 4/13/06

Bradley (my 5 year old) had his easter egg hunt at school yesterday. Those kids were all so excited! Here's the cutest picture of Bradley and Emily (one of his "girlfriends") walking out to get eggs...

Happy with his stash!
Bradley happy with his stash of eggs!

I don't have pictures of the Brave's game because I forgot my camera. But they won and it was fun! I was a little uncomfortable because I'm getting bigger, so I don't know if I'll be able to go to anymore games. I may take the kids to at least one. I think they'd have a lot of fun. Well, write more later!

I was bad!!

I ordered some silks from Vikki Clayton. I ordered the silks for The Sampler Company's Plymouth Sampler. Here's a picture of the silks...

Plymouth Sampler silks

And then I ordered the silks for Shepherd's Bush's Shepherd's Earth. I have always loved this design and when I saw the silks Vikki had on her website, I just couldn't resist!! Here's a pic of those silks...

Shepherd's Earth Silks

I couldn't find a decent picture of Shepherd's Earth, but I found a good WIP picture by Deb Hunter. Deb's Shepherd's Earth.

I'm so happy, I'm going to the Brave's home opener with some friends today. We should have a lot of fun, and hopefully the win! They were so close to winning yesterday. 5-4 in the 9th and the Giants ended up winning 6-5, not good. Oh well, at least Smoltz struck out Barry Bonds... that was almost worth it!! Well, write more tomorrow with pics of the game!!

Small finish and a start...

I finished Shepherd's Bush Hunt today. I decided to go with the splotchy linen because the other seemed to look a little dirty to me. I'm happy with how it turned out. I also decided to leave the hat off. I just like the plain sheepie. Here's a pic...

Shepherd's Bush Hunt

I also started a new project. It's the Wiehenburg Quaker Sampler Mystery. I signed up a few days ago. I love Quaker samplers and this one is coming out so pretty. I was going to get silks for it, but I just decided to go with DMC. Here's a picture of my progress...

At the moment I'm stitching on Summer Jubilee. I'm hoping to finish it soon! Write later!

Trying to decide....

I started Hunt by Shepherd's Bush the other day. The only thing is I'm just not sure about the splotchy fabric. So I decided to see how it looked on some natural belfast, but I'm not too sure about that either. I need help!! Here are the pics... maybe someone out there can help me decide!

I'm just so indecisive!! Argh!

In other news Laura of Poor Miss Finch just had her baby boy Clark. He is such a cutie!! It makes me so anxious to have my baby. I can't wait to see him and hold him. I just can't wait to see what he will look like. I know it will be in no time at all though! These past 24 weeks really have gone by pretty fast. Well, not much else! Write more soon! Don't forget to leave comments about sheepies!! :)

Happy Day!

I finished all of the stitching on my Happy Day needle roll. Now I just have to make it into a needle roll! Here's a pic...

Happy Day finished 4/4/2006

Well, I have to get ready for work... I'm so looking forward to it! I never thought I'd say that, but this fighting is driving me crazy! They are so used to their routine, and since Bradley's been on spring break it's all out of whack! I can't wait for my mom to have them for a little bit!! :)

24 weeks today!

I managed to take a semi-decent picture of myself today...

24 weeks Pregnant

I some stitching stash in the mail today from Elegant Stitch! It's Drawn Thread's newest - Wayward Garden with the linen and silks and Shepherd's Bush Hunt. I love them both! I would love to start them right now! :)

Stash w/flash

I did start a small project last night. It's Shepherd's Bush Happy Day Needle Roll....

Happy Day Needleroll

Well, I'm trying to get the kids dressed to get them out of the house. They have been fighting all day! I don't think they are used to being around each other this much. Bradley's on spring break right now. Wish me luck! :) Write more later!

Tired again...

I have been pretty tired lately. I haven't been getting much done at all. I do have a little progress on Summer Jubilee...

Summer Jubilee as of 4/2/2006

I'm getting more uncomfortable as the days go on. I've been having a lot of pelvic pain when I lay down. I think I'm going to be 24 weeks tomorrow... almost 6 months! It's gone by so fast! Just 16 more weeks. Sometimes I wonder if I'll be ready! :) Well, not much else! Write more later!
