Not Much Stitching....

I thought I would stitch all weekend, but I ended up cleaning instead. I'm always amazed at how cluttered things get! I was very close to starting "The Plantation Sampler" last night. I got all the threads together and on thread drops. They are so pretty!

The Plantation Sampler

But I figured I'd better try to get Miss Lila's House finished first. I already have way too many things started! Hopefully I can get it finished up sometime this week.

My dh is now home again and the kids are flocked around him watching the NBA playoffs. They love their daddy! :) I'm glad he's home too, I really missed him (even though he is like a fourth child sometimes)! Well, nothing else going on. Going to try to get some stitching done! Write soon!

  5. The colors look so nice for the Plantation Sampler. I know that I'm going to have to do this one of these days. And I hear you on the cleaning - you start on that and no stitching gets done!

  7. Don't you love the Plantation Sampler colors? They're luscious! I know the feeling with the cleaning. It's awful how you clean and then you have to clean again!

  8. Did you change the colors from the charted DMC? I finally found this chart and was thinking of changing it to Vikki HDF. But still just thinking. :-)

  9. Stitching is so beautiful! I know what you mean about cleaning house. Mine is a bit messy right now because its hard stitch alot and keep the house clean. I used to blame it on kids but I can't anymore :)

  11. Me too. I'm off this week but the first part will be a lot of 'spring cleaning' and tidying up. I'm trying to get stitching in too...I have a list that could fill up summer, never mind a week!

While I look forward to seeing you work on Plantation Sampler, I hope you get Miss Lila finished too as I would love to see the whole thing done!
