Vacation Stash!

I got back from Florida yesterday around 2 pm. I got up early to beat all the traffic. It was so bad on Saturday when I drove up from Bonita Springs to my in-laws in Lake Panasoffkee that I didn't want to go through it again. I had a very busy week visiting everyone, so I didn't get any stitching done, but I did manage to do a little stashing. :)

I got some NPI for Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow at Silk Road Needle Arts in St. Petersburg...

Lakeside Linen and NPI silks for AaHRH

I got a couple Lakeside Linen fat quarters from Golden Needle in Port Charlotte...

Lakeside Linen
40 ct. Vintage Bisque and 40 ct. Vintage Light Examplar

I also got the cute little cupcake made by Alma Allen's Husband from Golden Needle...

Blackbird Designs Cupcake and Pattern

My last stop was at Quilt's 'N More. A nice quilt shop in Port Charlotte. I got some fat quarters from there...

Fat Quarters

I also received some patterns from The Scarlet Letter while I was away.

Scarlet Letter
Ann Smith, Jenny Bean and Sarah Willson

Ann Smith 1767
AVAS Soie 'd Alger silks and 36 ct. Vintage Pearled Barley Linen.

I fell in love with Ann and Sarah after seeing these pictures on Webshots...

I also ordered the catalog from The Scarlet Letter and now my SL wish list has grown immensely! The pictures are much clearer in the catalog.

Although, I need to stay away from the stashing for awhile and get back to stitching, so I won't be ordering anything anytime soon! Hopefully, I'll have some stitching pics to share soon! :)

  7. It looks like you will have fun with your new stash!

My grandparents used to live in Lake Panasoffkee and I remember feeling like they lived in the middle of nowhere and that it took forever to get to a store or restaurant!

  8. Nicole, beautiful stash. I always wondered about the paper catalog, and now I want one also--they look much better than the photos online that just don't quite blow up large enough.

  11. Welcome Home! It sounds like you had fun in our state of FL!! I have relatives in Lake Pan. How neat is that?! LOL

Silk Road is my LNS, yet it is about an hour or so from my home. What did you think of the store? I really like it! They are packed in, but very helpful!

  18. Woohoo, Nicole. Great stash stuff. I think it is your reward for all the driving you had to do.
I have the SL catalogue, too. I agree with you that seeing the samplers more clearly is a dangerous thing for the budget!

  20. Love all your stash Nicole - I'm going to be in that area for a concert later this summer - I'll have to put Silk Road on my shop list. We have a LNS in Jax but I don't even go there any more since the original owner retired - and now losing the OGC is another blow to my local shop possibilities. Loved hearing about your shopping excursions - can't wait to see more stitching - Paradise Lost is looking quite marvelous! Mel
