Home Again!

I'm back from Michigan! I got back last Thursday and I think I'm still recuperating. I've been so tired. Hopefully, by tomorrow I'll start to feel a little more normal. I did get a tiny bit of stitching done today. I actually finished block 11 of Shores. I think I was working on it for about two months - pretty sad!

SoHRH block 11

I think I'm going to work on block 10 next and then work my way up to the big block (6 & 7).

I also started a wrap while in Michigan. Please don't ask me what possessed me to knit something so hot in 100 degree weather!! I think it's very pretty though and know that I'll enjoy it in the winter.

Morning Frost Wrap
Morning Frost Wrap from Stitch Nation Booklet - Bamboo Ewe yarn in Beach Glass.

Well, nothing else really going on - just hibernating from the hot weather - we're having record highs here. Gives me an excuse to stay in the A/C and stitch!! :) Write soon!

Edited to add: The fabric I'm using on Shores is 40 ct. Summer Khaki, over-dyed with Tan Rit Dye.

  3. That wrap is soooo pretty and I'm loving that color. Sorry we didn't get to meet up while you were here - it's been a zoo around here - but I'm glad that you got to go to SNT. Hopefully, next time you're up here we can meet up!

  26. You have done a ton of traveling this summer! What fun. :) I am loving the wrap- the blue is really nice. If it disappears from your coat rack this winter, it's because I took it. ;) Shores is looking wonderful. You are such a fast stitcher; I would love to see you in action!

  27. Congratulations on the block finish. That shawl is very pretty what a great color. I know so many are suffering from the heat and here I sit longing for a warm day. Here in Norhtern california it has been unseasonable chilly. Last night it was 52. I wish I could blow some of this cool air your way but sonce I cant enjoy your A/c what would we do without it.

    Take Care :)
