I Have Lost it!!

Well, I was using the Kindle 2 for a few days and then I started missing my Kindle 3. I missed the smaller size and the quieter buttons. It shouldn't have made a difference, but it did. I was having Kindle 3 envy everywhere I looked. :) So..... I sold my K2 and ordered another Kindle 3. This time I ordered white (3G) and I like it sooo much better. I'm finally happy!! Really and truly this time. The screen is so nice with the white casing. I think it was just the graphite that was playing tricks on my eyes. Anyway, the gadget saga is finally done now!!! I promise this time! :)

I made a little slip case using the quilt top I was making awhile back (I knew I'd never finish that quilt!!).

Ok, now that the gadget saga is officially over, I have some stitching to share. I got a little bit more stitched on Shores. I finished the dolphin and worked on the boat a little bit yesterday...

I also decided to start Ann Smith yesterday. I only got a tiny bit done. There is a lot of over one in this design. I decided to do tent stitch to make it go a little faster. Hopefully it will look ok!!

Well, we're in for a rainy day today. Perfect stitching and reading weather. I love fall! Write soon! :)

Stash!!

It's been awhile since I've bought any stash (cross stitch, not gadgets), so when I went up to Amy's on Saturday I got a few things I've been wanting from Down Sunshine Lane...

stash from Down Sunshine Lane

I got the new Blackbird Designs and JCS ornament issue. I also got a couple LHN ornaments and an oldie from Carriage House. "As Life Wears Away." I have always loved this design!

I got some 36 ct. Magnolia Linen from Lakeside to stitch Scarlet Letter's "Ann Smith." I was originally going to use 36 ct. Vintage Pearled Barley, but then I saw Glenna's Start on Magnolia and knew I had to copy her (sorry Glenna)! :)

I think going to Amy's is going to help get me out of my slump. I feel energized to stitch again!! :) Well, I'm going to get back to organizing my new stash and maybe settle down to finally get some stitching done!
