Geranium House Finished!

I got it finished up last night - Finally! At the rate I was going I didn't think I'd ever get it done!

A little more GH and little stash...

I'm STILL working on Geranium House. Hopefully I'll be able to get it finished up, or almost finished tonight while watching the NEW episode of Grey's Anatomy. I feel like lately I've been spending a lot of time driving around town! After I drop Bradley off at school I meet my SIL, or go to her house to pick up Halle, and I do the same in the afternoon. That's at least an extra hour a day that I'm spending in the car. Anyway, I'm not complaining (too much) because my brother did give me a car, which I believe is partially for this purpose. Although they didn't mention it then, but we kind of figured it out. Anyway, I'm just tired. I need a vaction. A week somewhere would be great. It wouldn't have to be fancy. Just a motel room and my stitching with a great stitching shop close by. That would be heaven! :) Enough rambling, here's my wip!



And I picked up a couple charts yesterday and a "Handy Caddy," which I love by the way. Like I wrote previously - I just love new gadgets for my stitching!

I got the house about 1/3 of the way done now. I stitched for about 2 hours last night. I'm hoping to get a little more done tonight, but I'm tired again today! A part of me would just like to go to sleep. zzzzzzzz Write more tomorrow!

A Little More Progress...

Still in my mini-slump. I'm hoping to get out of it very soon! My new computer is taking too much of my time! :) I've been spending a lot of time getting my cross stitch database on it. I couldn't transfer over the complete file that had all the pictures, so I had re add the pictures. I've also been spending a lot of time getting caught up with my favorite blogs and message boards. I'm so amazed at all the wonderful finishing everyone does. One day I hope to be a "finisher!" :) Anyway, here's my little progress pic...

I'm sorry everyone... I don't know what's wrong with me! I've been so tired lately! Falling asleep at 9:30 when I usually stay up until 11:00 stitching! I haven't gotten much done at all lately. The only stitching I've done is a little bit here and there while wating to pick up my niece or waiting to pick up Bradley. I'm really hoping to get some done tonight. This really shouldn't be taking me so long Cathy got her's done in like 4 or 5 days! Anyway, I do hope to make a little more progress tonight! I'll write more later!! :)

Still no stitching :(

I have been so busy the last few days that I haven't been able to get any stitching done! I've also been tired! Matthew is getting his fourth tooth. I can't wait for it to pop through and then we can all get a little sleep! Another reason for no stitching is I got a new laptop for work (ok, it's really a new toy for me!).



It's a HP Pavilion dv6000. I was planning on getting a new laptop when we got our taxes back, but my brother told me to use the company credit card because I'll be using it for work. He's just the greatest! The computer is just awesome though. It's a 100 times better than my old laptop and at least 50 times better than my desktop. I'm planning on giving the old laptop to my mom because she has been going online lately. She really didn't even know how to use a computer and didn't know anything about email, etc. Now she's learning it all and I'm so happy for her. The desktop I'll probably give to the kids. They love going online to play computer games and I'm always shooing them away so I can use it, now I won't have to! :)

The new Windows Vista is very cool. It has a lot of neat features. Anyway, enough rambling. I'll write more later - hopefully there will be stitching to show!

It sure has been fun having my niece Halle around here. She's such a sweetie! We feel kind of guilty though because for the past two days she has slept - a lot! But my theory is to never wake a sleeping baby because I know for a fact they will not be happy about it!

Definitely not much sleeping going on there! :) Well, I didn't stitch yesterday or today. I was thinking of stitching tonight for a half hour. I've just been feeling tired and lazy. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better stitching day! Write later!

Geranium House as of 4/3/07

I got a little more done on GH last night before I crashed. I like that it's a little smaller than the last two CCN/LHNs that I did - it should stitch up fairly quick. Well, this will be very short. Matthew is fussing! Write later! :)

O.K. I lied...

I couldn't resist starting something new after I finished up Nature's Beauty. I thought I would be good and work on my Lizzie Kate Flip-It banner, so I started February (I'm obviously way behind).

And while I was stitching February I got to thinking about all the cute Geranium House Wips I've been seeing lately and decided to start it myself! I cut the fabric around 10:15 pm last night, so I didn't get much done...

I'm already loving it though! I just love these designs for their simplicity and pretty colors. Anyway, I don't know how much I'm going to get done tonight... I'm so tired! Getting back on schedule along with Matthew's new activeness and helping my mom with Halle is just wearing on me! Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow?? Write more later! :)

Yes! I'm so happy it's done! I absolutely loved this one - I knew I would from the moment I saw it. It was stitched on the recommended 32 ct. Flax Fields linen by R&R using DMC threads. I started it on March 22nd and finished it today, April 2nd.

I started helping my mom watch my niece Halle today. It was so much fun holding a little baby again. She so sweet! She was a little fussy at first, but then warmed up to us. We are both worn out though - it was also Bradley's first day back to school after his spring break.

I'm going to try to get a couple other things finished up before I start something new. I'd like to get My Earth, Pomegranate Sampler, and Sunflower Bellpull finished soon! Hopefully I can do it! :)
