Class Project Stitching Finished!

I finished up the stitching on my class project this weekend. I'm so glad to have it done. Remind me not pick anymore over one projects. They are just too tedious. I need my cross stitch to be fun and easy because cross stitch is my escape! Over one, for me, is not always fun or easy, actually it's not ever fun and easy for me. I have to think too much! LOL! :) Anyway, here is my pic...

After I finished that up I decided to get back to the correct holiday of the season and stitch "Halloween Sampler" by Lizzie Kate.

I'm stitching it on 28 ct. Heritage Cashel using the recommended Weeks and Sampler Threads. Well, not much else going. I've just been cleaning like crazy because we are having an inspection on our condo at noon today! Write later! :)

  1. The stitching for your class project turned out beautifully! And I know what you mean about over 1...it sure takes a lot of concentration :)

Love your Halloween project too ;)

  2. I bet you are so glad to have that all done! I don't like stitching over one really either. It is kind of like doing fractional stitches but those are even worse and hard to see. It did turn out beautifully though! I have been stitching on my canvas projects for now. I am not sure the bloggers like it as much but I love it as well as my cross stitch. Good luck on the inspection! Debby:)

  3. It is so pretty! Over 1 is a pain, but it is soooo pretty when complete! You have made a beautiful piece. I love your colors!

  5. I'm not keen on stitching over one either, so I can understand where you're coming from, but it really is worth it, your class piece is gorgeous! Halloween is looking cute too.

  6. I agree about the over one. I love the look, but it makes my eyes crazy, even with the magnifier. I have a project that I barely got started on that was over one on 40 count gauze. It's a Maureen Appleton design. She likes over one stitching. I'll have to get it out and post a picture.

I know the 1 over 1 stitching is very difficult for eyes, but it looks reeally pretty!
    I also love its colors.
