Harvest Blessings Finished!

I got it finished up last night while listening to Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon on CD. I love all the Outlander books, but I hadn't been able to get through this one, so I thought maybe I'd do better to listen to it, and so far it's working. I was so excited to see that my local library had a ton of books on CD and tape and they have a program online where you can download them. I needed something to fill my Gilmore Girl void! :) Anyway, here's a couple pics....

Country Cottage Needleworks "Harvest Blessings"
Fabric: 32 ct. Light Mocha Belfast
Threads: Crescent Colours and DMC

I also received a little stash in the mail the other day from Handcrafts Online...

I got a couple CCN and LHN charts and I also got the Black Belfast I was needing for Hanky Pysanky...

Well, that's all for now! I'm really going to try to get my Sunflower Bellpull finished up before I start anything else! :)

P.S. Cathy, the Hanky Pysanky chart does have the instructions for the smalls. Sorry I didn't answer you sooner! ;)

  1. Great finish!!!

I'm really being tempted by the Hanky Pysanky design, especially now that I see the thread colours against the black fabric!

  14. What a beautiful and fast finish Nicole!! I love that one too and have it in my stash. I just got Acorn Hill yesterday but got the Crescent Colors conversion instead of the silk. You have done a beautiful job on this and I love your stash that you have too. I hope that you are feeling better! Hugs

  16. Harvest blessings looks tempting - so sweet. And I am listening to Voyager myself and saw Drums of Autumn on the shelf (all audio - the gal reading it and Dragonfly is totally awesome!)
    Happy stitching,

  17. What a lovely finish Nicole! I love all of your stashing too, have two of those myself, the Daisy sampler and Curly Q Ewe. Can hardly wait to stitch the Daisy sampler because my plan is to make a pillow out of it. I found a pretty daisy fabric for the back and am planning on using a pom pom trim around the edges. And I got the frame from Crescent Colors for Curly Q.....better get crackin', lol!
You do the prettiest stitching, very inspiring!
