Strawberry House Finished!

I finished up "Strawberry House" yesterday. It was such a fun stitch. I decided not to "Doll it up" though. I liked it with just plain stitching the best. I'm thinking about stitching Queen Bee or Autumn Harvest now! :)

Fabric: 28 ct. Creme Brulee by R&R
Threads: Crescent Colours & DMC
Stared: 9/13/08 - Finished 9/15/08

In other news.... I'm a little worried about my friend Debby (Stitch Wizard). She lives outside of Houston and I haven't heard from her since before Hurricane Ike made landfall. I truly hope she is doing ok! I'm guessing she doesn't have power and I hope that is the extent of her troubles right now! Debby, you are in my thoughts and prayers - I hope to hear from you soon!!

  8. Wow!! You are such a fast stitcher!!!!! This is beautiful!!!

I live an hour outside of Houston and although we are fine here, I heard Houston has lots of wind damages and still no power. I have friends staying with us from Galveston because their apartment is not livable right now...

I hope your friend is okey, and hopefully it's just the power outage.

  12. Beautiful finish. I'm sure your friend in Houston is just without power. I have a friend about an hour outside of Houston that didn't have power until Monday and she wasn't in a hard hit area. Her grandkids are out of school for the entire week because of the storm. I hope you hear from her soon. *hugs*

  25. How on earth do you stitch so fast??!!! :) Please tell me that you spend hours and hours a day stitching, or I might have to kill myself. Kidding. This is a super cute finish, congrats. And so glad you decided to go with the white on your Celtic Autumn piece!
