Stash and a Quick Finish!

tI got a wonderful package from DSL yesterday. I got a few things with the money from my recent sale. I love paypal! :) I got Shepherd's Bush kits "Glad Tidings" and "Queen Sheep."

The quick finish is Lizzie Kate's "Santa Wants to Know." I started it last night and finished it today and actually finished it into a cube-it today. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Fabric: 28 ct. Cream Cashel Linen
Threads: DMC, GAST & WDW
Started: 12/16/08 - Finished: 12/17/08

These cubes are so easy and are so good for me because there is NO sewing involved!! I used this tutorial for the cube. Here's a picture of the three Christmas Lizzie Kates I've finished recently...

  1. Lovely finishes Nicole! I also love the 2 SB kits that you just received. I have had my eye on Glad Tidings for awhile now...may have to break down and get it soon! (Hmmm, this enabling thing works both ways!)

  2. Great stash and beautiful fabric to go along with your kits.

I ADORE your cube finish - it's perfect! I'm curious to know how you finished it with no sewing - that sounds like my kind of finish.

Does SB give the name of that fabric in Glad Tidings? It's gorgeous!
