Paradise Lost Progress

The kids had a four day weekend, so we went down to Florida for a quick trip.  I worked on Paradise Lost a little bit while down there.  I was very glad to get the big tree on the right finished.

Paradise Lost as of 10/27/09

I'll probably work on the big tree in the middle now.  Well, I'd better get back to my mountain of laundry!  I cleaned before I left, but of course it's a disaster again.  How does it happen so fast? :)  Write soon!

  1. Nicole, I am so glad to see you here! Wow I have missed you and was wondering if you caught the flu or something. Glad you are ok and your Paradise Lost is soooooo pretty. I am still waiting and waiting for SBB to get my thread to me. I called them and it shipped today. I got my Vintage Lt. Exemplar fabby on Friday so I am just dying to start on this. Watching yours is really fun and makes me want to start mine ASAP. Beautiful stitching!!!

  2. Great progress, Nicole! Looking at that tree, I'm thinking, well it looks doable, I hope! lol! The tree on the left is the one that got to me! I haven't tackled the one you did yet though. Nor the one in the middle. I love this piece though -- and I love that you're working from the other side from me so I can see what's ahead for me! :D Hope the laundry doesn't overwhelm you.

  9. Hi! I'm sorry we weren't able to get together when you were down here this past weekend. My sons were here, and I didn't have a minute to leave the house. It was good to see them. I miss them so much. I'm off to see Jess the 2nd week of Nov. Can't wait! Your Paradise is really coming along...and you seem to be enjoying every minute with it. Is it the "Echo..." that you're listening to that helps??? :] Hope the boys have a great Halloween!!
    Sending hugs, Deb

  22. Nicole - I LOVE this piece and think a trip up to my not-so LNS is in order to get it and start stitching it. It's been a long time since I've seen anything that really got me excited to stitch.
