A Pillow!

I decided to sew up Watermelon into a pillow. I used the fabric from Mary Kathryn's finishing kit. I decided to use it around the edges as a border instead of just in the back. I thought it was too pretty not to be able to see it. I used a pale pink in the back. For an amateur sewer I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Tomorrow I'll probably sew up Pear. I think I'll do it the same way because I also love the fabric for that one! Now I'm going to put Matthew to bed and get stitching! :)

  7. Beautiful finish, Nicole! I've been collecting the thread packs but just cannot make up my mind what to do with them. Pillows, pinkeeps, a little quilt...

I LOVE Vera Bradley and love that blue and brown paisley. How nice for you!
