Garden Pleasures Finished!

I got it finished up this morning! It feels so good to actually get something finished. I think that Queen Anne's Lace was starting to get me down a little. I love working on it, but it's also good to have some little finishes every now and then!

Little House Needleworks "Garden Pleasures"
Fabric: 25 ct. Lambswool Jobelan (1x1)
Threads: DMC, Crescent Colours, and GAST

Julianne left a comment a couple weeks ago wondering if I'd finished my Pomegranate Sampler. I hadn't. I only had two sides of border left to do, so I decided to get it out today. I took it with me to stitch in the car on the way to my in-laws. I managed to get all the green in the border done and now I just have to stitch the pomegranates. I'm looking forward to getting it finished now! :) I'll take a pic tomorrow! Write later!

  1. Nicole its great to see you get excited about a project again-can't wait to see pomegranite sampler! Those big projects can get you bogged down for sure. Love your garden pleasures-the colors are so pretty!

  3. Very nicely done finish. I always throw in some small projects during the time I am doing a BAP. It keeps your from getting stale and bored with one thing.

  14. Hi Nicole,

Garden Pleasures is wonderful! I ordered several LHN charts from Mary Kathryn, and that's one of them.

That's great news about your Pomegranate Sampler. I really look forward to seeing your post of that beauty all finished.

  15. Nicole your Garden Pleasures is just beautiful!! I have that pattern in my stash and I just love it!! You should be so proud of this! I know what you mean about needing a small finish in between large projects! You kind of get bogged down at times. I can hardly wait for LHN Acorn Hill to come out. Not sure I will use the silks, but will definitely use Crescent Colors thread. Debby :)

  17. Nicole, I love your Garden Pleasures! I do so agree with you about having small finishes as well as stitching on bigger projects, I'm really enjoying watching your Queen Anne's Lace grow though. The Pomigranite Sampler looks good too.
