Halloween Came Early

We went to Guppyween at the Florida Aquarium today. The kids had so much fun. It was hard to get a picture of them because they were in constant motion!

Kids in costume got in free. Jake was wearing last years costume because he got marker all over the costume he was going to wear today! :) Oh well, he still looked cute! And thankfully, last years costume still fit - just barely! :)

I also got a some Halloween stash yesterday. I went Cummings Stitch and Frame in Port Richey, FL. It's the only shop somewhat close to me that carries Shepherd's Bush. I got Shepherd's Bush "Halloween Treat Bag" and "Fright," which I started, and an older Barrick Samplers "Her Sampler"

I also have another little progress pic of Curly Q to share. Still working on the green! :)

Well, the fourth game of the World Series is getting ready to start. I'm routing for the Under Dog Rockies to come back. I'm not sure it can happen though. Boston looks pretty strong. So this may be the last game of baseball this season! What will I do for five months? I'll be so lost! LOL! Write later! :)

P.S. I ended up not starting Frappuccino yet!

  3. What great times, when the kids are young and enjoying the Halloween spirit, I have lots of great memories. Those charts are going to be a joy to stitch!

  4. The boys look so cute! I miss Halloween. We're going to have a spooky Halloween dinner here at home, anyway. I keep telling the kids we're having fried spiders. ;)

    Love your Curly-Q progress!

  6. Looks fun! DS loves that aquarium - he usually goes down to that part of Florida for a couple of weeks each winter with his grandparents.

  7. What fun and such a cute picture of the boys. Your stitching is lovely; and that stash, looks great! I'll have to pop over to Carriage House's site and see what HER SAMPLER is upclose - looks interesting.

  10. Your Curly-Q is looking great! I almost picked up that same sweet bag kit at my LNS on Saturday. The shop had 15% off Halloween stuff that day. I'm kicking myself now for not getting it! LOL
