Now I Know....

Now I know why I was so tired yesterday. I was getting sick. I woke up at 12 am and thought "uh oh." I was sick all night and finally started feeling better about 7 am. Another joy of having children. The wonderful bugs they bring home. My mom was so nice. She went out and got me seltzer water and bought me some pretty pink carnations. Don't they match my pink Ott-Lite perfectly?? :)

carnations from mom

I did get a tiny bit more stitched on SoHRH before I gave in and went to sleep...

More SoHRH as of 2/27/08

Well, I'm going to lay down now. My stomach is feeling better, but now I have a headache! Write later!

  11. Hope you feel better soon, headaches and such really hinder one's desire to stitch. The lovely cheerful flowers should help too. I remember those days with the kids bringing home the sick bugs!

  12. I've found that I've gotten more of the sickies since my older daughter started going to school last year. Kids are some of the germiest critters out there...LOL!

Beautiful flowers...carnations are my favorite cut flower. And I love that pink Ott Light! You must have wonderful lighting in your house, every picture you take is so bright and pretty. Pictures from our house make it look like we live in a cave! :-)

  13. Nicole,

So sorry that you're feeling under the weather. Boy, you've had more than your share of that lately.

Your stitching is coming to life and looks great. Working with those colors is sure to put you in the springtime spirit. Your flowers are really lovely. What a sweet mom you have!

  15. Nurse Sandra here and probably far too late to help with this bout of sickness. Most probably the reason you have a headache after being so sick, is because you are dehydrated, so the best thing is to drink lots of water. Only joking, I'm not a nurse, but I find if I have a headache, it's usually 'cos I haven't drunk enough.

  16. Nicole, I have been looking at your blog for quite a while now and enjoy every one of your updates. I can't believe how much stitching you get done, all while you're raising your darling boys, and waiting to be with your dh.

I so hope you're feeling a lot better. Love your pics, and the pink Ott-Lite, well what can I say - I didn't know they came in different colours. I have a boring grey one :(

Mums are great aren't they? Always there when you need them.
