Rose Cottage Finished!

I finally finished "Rose Cottage. " For some reason it seems like this one took me forever, even though it really only took four days! I'm glad to be done though. I wasn't sure how the changes I made would turn out. Instead of Crescent Colours Secondhand Rose I used GAST Victorian Pink and instead of CC Country Lane I used DMC 3863. Another change I made was to use CC Desert Mesquite for the flower stems in the grass because the DMC 522 wasn't showing up too well. I think it turned out O.K., but I do like the picture on the cover better! Oh well, it can't always be perfect! :)

  6. It looks lovely Nicole. Your thread changes have come up well, and I know what you mean about chart pictures - they don't always look the same once stitched. You still should be happy though, it's so pretty!

  8. It looks great! I know we always doubt ourselves when we make changes, but I think it makes it more of our own piece that way.
