Hello Again!

Well, I did not get my neighborhood finished. I stopped by my LNS in Florida to pick up the latest Loose Feather. While I was there I decided to browse through the canvas work patterns and saw this funky one (Hide & Seek) by Laura J. Perin. I decided to get it and the threads and canvas for it. I started it right away. I'm still not sure about the colors, they really are not me, but I can't stop stitching it! :)

I'm so addicted to canvas work lately - I want to buy more and more, but I can't! I'm on a budget! And I need to have to stick to it! Anyway, nothing else going on. I've got lots of water and Pop Tarts just in case Hanna decides to come near us (it looks like it's going North of us)! Write later!

  1. That is gorgeous! I have to tell you that I came across your blog and really wanted to try a needlepoint project. I had started out years ago with needlepoint, but your pictures are beautiful and off I went to my LNS and picked up the necessary fibers. I am doing a freebie from Rainbow Gallery by Laura Perin. So thanks for enabling a fellow stitcher!!

We are keeping a watchful eye on Hanna. The weather dudes are saying tropical storm by the time it gets here. That I can handle. Suz

  4. Oh this is sooooooooo beautiful and you can see much more detail in your stitched model here than just seeing it on the web! I just love it and I love the colors too! I think that the bright colors would just be such a pick me up!! It is way more beautiful than I even imagined it would be and you are doing just a super great job on it! You must feel such a sense of accomplishment with this! Gorgeous!

I had looked through your photo album recently and your boys' pics are darling. Matthew is how old now? He is so cute - wish you were closer - looks like he'd be a perfect playmate for my Zack!

  10. This is gorgeous! Really great colors, too. I'm hoping that Hanna misses Charleston and the area, as I have family there!
