Very Bad!

I'm still here. Slowly recovering. Even though I'm not stitching I can still share some stash I got in the mail recently! I couldn't resist getting the two new Lakeside Linen colors - Vintage Homespun and Vintage Buttercream.

I have also recently fallen in love with the Handwork pattern "Frances Eden." I ended up ordering it and Vikki Clayton's silks to go with it. Here they are on the Buttercream (which is a better pic of the actual color by the way).

Well, it's back to laying on the couch for me! Hopefully I'll have some stitching to share one of these days! Write soon!

  1. Hi Nicole
Your blog was one of the first ones I visited when I entered blog land last July, I loved it then and I still think your blog is great. You do such beautiful stitching!

  10. Ooooh, what gorgeous linens!! Nice marbling on them, too. Thanks for the pics--helps to see what they look like rather than looking at a teeny little swatch. Enjoy Frances Eden--she is a fun stitch! Funky & fun colors. Hope you're feeling better soon & back to stitching up a storm.

  13. You are a dangerous, dangerous woman...you keep introducing me to things I don't need to spend money on!

I'm off to peek at the Handwork Sampler online catalog now...

And I might have to invest in that Lakeside...that buttercream is luscious...and perfect for another project I want to kit up.

  18. Gorgeous fabrics and silks. I love VCS! I'm currently using that on a Long Dog Sampler that is probably 65% complete. It's a BIG one.

I hope you start feeling your "Nicole" self. I'm missin' ya!
