Finally Home!

We got in very late last night - about 1:30 am. I finally got to sleep after 3:00 am. It was not easy to get up this morning, but I did it! :) Because I'm so tired this post will be short! I do have a couple of pictures to share...

All my Chocolat goodies and the start of the project.

Some stash I got at Elegant Stitch!

I had a ton of fun, but I am so glad to be home. And I don't want to leave for that long again for a long time. I'm a homebody. I love to be at home with my boys and my stitching. I think it's great to see new things, and do new things, but it's also great to get back home. I can't stop kissing and hugging them all - they are just the sweetest!! :) Write later

P.S. I added more pictures to my flickr album!

  1. I'm a homebody too. In April I went to Long Beach, CA for my sister's wedding and from the second day there (out of only 4), I was already anxious to go home, I missed my hubby.

  2. I'm a homebody, too! I get excited about going away, but as soon as I'm away from home, I miss "home"; if I go without family, I'm always thinking "-- would have loved this".

I'm glad you had a good time - I hope your family missed you, and realized how much you do around home!

  3. I love to be at home too! That, I guess, is why we don't take many vacations. There's nothing like the comforts of home...
I'm glad you had a nice time and saw the sights! Your stash and goodies all look delightful! Rest up!

  4. There's no place like home :) Glad you had such a fun time and I'm sure those hugs were the best on return. I enjoyed seeing your photos.

  5. Nicole,

I'm glad that you are home safely and that you had a good time.

I've lived in CA (SF Bay Area) for almost 20 years and I've never been to Elegant Stitch. How sad is that?

  7. Sounds like such fun! But it is hard to be away from the kids that long. By the third night I get anxious. Looks like you got some beautiful things-that chocolat piece is gorgeous.
