Can't Sleep

I was sleeping sooo good. All warm and snuggly in my bed and then Matthew woke up. He's teething and has not been too happy about it the last few days. Then I got to thinking about the pot roast I made yesterday. It was so good! I used this recipe. Instead of Italian seasoning I used a Lipton soup packet. It was so hard to leave it alone and just let it cook though. I had to force myself to wait until the end - until it was fork tender. It was so good, did I mention that? :) So anyway I decided to get up and make myself a midnight, or actually 4:30 am snack.

We are leaving today and I should be sleeping, so I can rest up for the drive, but I just can't sleep yet. After I write this I'm sure I'll fall asleep only to be woken up in an hour by the kids. Oh well, what can ya do! I'm not looking forward to leaving. It's been so nice here. But I have to get back to reality. Bradley goes back to school Monday and I have to get back to work and all my other duties. I will definitely look back at this week with much fondness. Well, I'm just babbling now! I did get a little stitching done yesterday. I don't have too much to do now. just some words and leaves!

I'm almost tempted to stay here until I get it finished because I won't be able to stitch for awhile once I leave here! :)

Well, I'm going to try to get some sleep now! Write later! :)

  3. I totally understand about not sleeping. Often up at 2:30. Lots of quality blog reading can be done at that time. I love the PS. It is gorgeous. Happy New Year.
