I was stitching away on Quaker Christmas and my eyes were getting really tired. I wanted to keep stitching, but all my current projects are either on 40 ct. or on black, so I decided to start Little House Needleworks "Brave Hearts."
I found a piece of 32 ct. Examplar big enough, so I decided to go with that. I'm using two strands of Belle Soie over two. Here's another little progress pic of Quaker Christmas. I got just a little bit more done before I got too tired.
Thank you all for your very kind comments yesterday. It makes feel glad to know there are others out there who understand me and my nerdiness! :) My family just shakes their heads! Write later!
Oh I just love seeing the things that you are stitching on!! You are really quite the inspiration to me!! I personally wouldn't feel guilty at all for starting several things! It is a fun thing and keeps the stitching interesting! I love this new one by LHN and also have that chart. That little lamb is just adorable!I love the color of fabric you use too! I am going to have to order me some 40 ct fabric as my LNS doesn't have much to choose from. Keep up the creative stitching and just have fun and keep inspiring all of us with your beautiful stitching!! Debby :)
ReplyDeleteOh my...you are badder! My goodness girl...you are starting the most gorgeous stuff and here I sit amongst piles of crap dealing with Girl Scouts....ugh! I want to stitch :( !!!!
ReplyDeleteThe little sheep looks so cute! I love this pattern. Can you tell me if there is a conversion in the pattern to Crescent Colours floss instead of the silks? Thanks, Danielle
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! The fabric goes very well with the colors!
ReplyDeleteThe little lamb is adorable! Both pieces are looking lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what an inspiration you are...you are the worse enabler ever, but I love it! I think you need to get sales credit from my LNS because what you stitch I go order from them! Thanks for bringing me back from the stitching doldrums!

You are the most enabling stitcher ever, LOL! I love seeing your works in progress, they are very inspiring and I've stitched some designs I would have ignored otherwise. Excellent photos too.
ReplyDelete36 count has been the finest count for me so far. Any particular linen brand better than another with 40 count?
Your progress on both pieces look fantastic. I love that little sheep!
ReplyDeleteQuaker Christmas is looking gorgeous with the colors you picked. Seeing you do it in red is making me want to change my colors!
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, Nicole :) This start is sweet - BRAVE HEARTS is such a great design. Happy stitching!
